Possibly the most harrowing documentary in years.
This horrible piece of shit was at my daughter’s establishment but only briefly before she was moved to the absolute luxury of a very cushy prison slightly further North.

It appeared she was a chronic alcoholic. The effect alcohol has on some people is extraordinary. I worked with a chap who was lovely when sober, totally obnoxious when in drink (which was often). He ended up doing six months after finding himself in his car upside down in a ditch. Everyone. Knew he was an alcoholic but he wouldn't admit it and as such it was impossible to help him. Glad I wasn’t his line manager.

My Mother was an alcoholic but she wasn’t violent & abusive, this woman is just a nasty piece of shit, she actually worked for Prison reform, ironic that she is now in Prison, I was going to put “locked up” but the Prison she is at she will have her own keys & be able to virtually come & go as she pleases
When she was being interviewed in the Police station she wasn’t under the influence of alcohol yet she twisted everything to make herself the victim.

I’m not making any excuses or mitigation for her Derek.

In the past I've known two men (a work colleague and a friend) who have been physically abused by their female partners.

It's difficult for a woman to admit that they are being abused but it must be even more difficult for a man to admit it, which is why you hear about a man abusing his female partner than the other way around.

Physically abusing anyone is wrong.

I too know a chap who was physically abused and subject to controlling behaviour by his female partner. Happily he got out of the relationship but it was difficult.

Whike at work at different times i had suspicions that two ladies were being subject to abuse and controlling behaviour. Not nice to see, especially when you can’t do anything to help (assuming you are right).

A few years back Bev worked with a senior Nurse who would come to work with bruises & black eyes, as Bev put it she was unapproachable, the few people who she would talk to were told, “he doesn’t always hit me” “sometimes I push him on purpose” “he’s always sorry afterwards” she genuinely believed that he loved her, she died of a brain haemorrhage at age 38, apparently her husband was laughing & joking throughout the funeral.
