Er.........unless my calendar is wrong it looks like next years Moto GP at Jerez will be on a Monday? We'll be there as it's the starting point of a our tour around Spain, but is anyone else going to Jerez?
After the GP, we're riding from Jerez up the coast via Valencia and up to Tarragona. After a couple of days riding around the Tarragona area, we'll press on up to the Pyrenees and then up to the Picos de Europa before riding down through central Spain back down to Malaga.

If anyone is interested in joining us any leg of the trip, please feel free to PM me.

DA, is Paul sorting out your tickets? :dunno:
My brother in law has sorted us paddock passes, but I'm happy to pop into the Corte Inlges and sort some tickets out for you sooner rather than later as I note that the new "Special" section is already sold out  as has the best stand (X1) .

...Cheers, DS...

 ...We've already got our tickets (X0), DS, but thanks for the offer  All we need to sort out now is somewhere to stay; all the Paradors and major hotels are stipulating 2-3 nights with half-board for the MotoGP weekend: as this will be (literally) a "flying visit", we'll be looking for a less expensive alternative.

Thanks again though, Joe, for your kind offer. :k

I hope we can get together for a beer or two while we're over there. :lick:

Happy New Year Joe.

So how did your track day go?
I wanted to phone you for directions to the track as I was going to get over to see you but had mislaid your phone nunber. I left a message on the other thread but you must have left the UK by the time I'd got it posted.
I fancy a trip round Spain myself but that time of the year is a busy time for us so we might not be able to make it, I will keep in touch on that one.
Later on in the year if you fanced doing something similar I would be interested, so keep me posted. g0551p

Cheers Paul

DA, XO is a good stand mate; you'll have a good view from there. I'd like to be able to recommend some accomodation in the area, but don't know of anywhere as we ride from Malaga and back whenever we visit.
You can't go far wrong with the NH chain of hotels though.

Paul, track day @ Guadix was interesting. I don't like binning my bike at the best of times but Guadix would be my last choice; the lack of run off was alarming in places and the lack of marshalling was also a concern with the some of locals getting a bit close at times. The edges of the track were a little dodgy too, but the weather was stunning and once I'd learnt the track and gained a bit of confidence I enjoyed it. Almeria next, followed by Jerez. We must catch up. I'll PM you.

...Tickets, flights, car-hire and accommodation all sorted by the frighteningly efficient Mrs DA, DS...We're on our way, M8 - but still grateful for your advice and assistance
