I preferred it when it was Windsor Safari Park ;)

I live 20 minutes from Legoland and traffic wise it is a nightmare at this time of year. I used to take my daughter quite regularly when we used to have a complimentary fami;y pass, and I have tp say that if I had to pay to get in, not only woud I be near on bankrupt, I think I would feel I had been badly overcharged it is so expensive.

My daughter enjoyed it though, although she tells me that these days she has no desire to return. Now its more Thorpe Park which is only a further 10 minutes or so down the road.

We booed a while ago through Groupon, got the whole package two days theme park & one night in a themed bedroom in the hotel, cost £360, if we were booking now for the same dates is double that amount, I know we're going to spend a fortune the Grandkids are worth it.

There are some great deals on Groupon - but I find Living Social has the best hotel, deals. We normally have three or four short breaks a year through Living Social and we have yet to have a bad one - most are usually very good indeed.

My kids are now 9 and 13. We'd been 3 or 4 times in the last 6-7 years. The kids love it. Make time for the pirate stunt show. We've generally avoided crowds by doing it on election days when the kids school was used as a Polling Station.

Did you know there are more Lego 'people' on the planet than there are human beings?

I took my wife there. We're both fans of lego. The rooms are great but the walls and floors thin. Expect to be woken at about 6am regardless by kids excitedly running up and down the corridors.
