How to fit a steering damper

Hi !

One of our members are planning to fit a steering damper on his Bird, he claimed to have met one of your guys with have one attached, so the question is how to do.

Can anyone tell of a make an model for the steering damper suitable for installing on the Bird and where to best install it, pictures will be great.

The only kit that springs to mind is the Hypersport one.. From memory I believe the fitting kit and damper comes to about 280 GBP !

V&M racing who made the 50 Blackbirds for Honda's anniversary put a steering damper on them. Below is the site of the company they use and also V&M's (good site, get in touch with them they should help)

Thanks for all answers I?ll get them to our member, and especially the one regarding the ?Honda's anniversary? model, this is the model there were seen with it fitted.
