I watched the film Sylvia last night and I was reminded of one of my favourite poems of Ted Hughes. A March Calf.
Enjoy

I know it's not everyone's bag but just maybe if you give poetry a try you may find a new experience that gives you a buzz. It can make all the difference hearing a poem rather than just reading it.
Radio 4's Poetry Please is a good place to start.

To me poetry is a wonderful form of literature. A condensed powerhouse of a medium.
Whatever butters your muffin. A March Calf certainly does mine.
