Favour request: would you vote for this bike in MCN's "Built in Britain"?

My mate Lee Cockerham has built a custom ride, and done a very nice job of it too. He's entered it into MCN's "Built in Britain" competition in the pro-builder class

Personally, I don't think he's much competition, but would be grateful if you'd slip his machine a little vote. If anything it's a chance to look at some mental machines and some lovingly restored greats

The link to view the machines in their respective classes is http://www.mcnbuiltinbritain.co.uk/bgbt_voting.php

Lee's is in the probuilder class - here's his pride and joy..........check it!

looks nice till you look at the tuning fork of a backend on it, compared to all the curves it looks fugly and ran out of ideas. If it was round tube at least it would have looked better

Paddy - the African Queen is really quite good, big and tall - bloody well put together, nice plodder - sort of linear torque - I like her, makes me wanna ride again. I think if I had a selection of bikes I'd end up using something like the Africa more than the others

Output shaft as you probably know is a weak spot as folks run the chains too tight not accounting for the huge suspension travel - this one is OK. Got a relay issue to fix and probably do fuel pump and reg/rec. Aside from that I hope she'll just keep on keeping on. Probably take it to PDQ in Slough at some point and get them to work their magic as I chucked a Produro end can on it for a bit more pop and burble

Best looking bike in that catagory, also liked the Z650 flat tracker and the BMW 800 cafe racer too.

Cool beans mate,
did the same with the DR800 to get me back in the saddle, one of the best biking decisions I've made. She's 23 yrs old but took Gleni & myself all the way to the Pyrnees last year, dropped luggage off and did the ski run thing......... fooking magic, 4k miles in 2 weeks & just kept banging that old bin lid all day without a problem. Don't need an uber fast or new bit of kit to have fun!!!!
Will have to meet up soon, it's been too long!!!
Pads,
