A 'youngster' (prob late 20's or maybe early 30's) came into work today for some rebar and stuff. I couldn't help but notice he had had a lower leg amputation. His lower leg was like a piece of one inch diam pipe with a sturdy work boot fixed on the end. I asked him what had happened. "Motorbike crash" he said. Turns out he had binned his KTM 1290. I asked him if he had now quit biking.
I was happy to hear that he is still totally into it and has his KTM back on the road and is planning a Honda C90 tour of 30 countries. So inspirational
