Done it a few times now (including just a couple ef weeks ago..LOL)
Autobahn is a bit boring, and as Roxxo says, full of Pole & Latvian wagons (and only 2 lanes)
Take the route 24 out of Esjberg towards Ribe, Then follow route 11 south to Tonder, then cross the border into germany. Then follow the route 85 past Husum (Kidderminster, where we live's twin town & lovely to visit) and onto Heide, where you can pick up the A23 into Hamburg centre...
Total journey is about 210 miles with plenty of places to stop & eat/drink & tank up.
These are lovely open sweepy roads with a few really long straight bits that you can have a blast on... Moast of the traffic is on the Autobahn, so these roads tend to be quite nice & empty:bow:
As you come out of Esjberg & pick up the route 24, keep your eyes open for the biggest bicycle dealer you have ever seen....
.. They must sell a lot of pushbikes to have a place that big......
Enjoy your trip, and ride safe.
Cheers,
Rolfy
