I have three vehicles,2004 Honda CR-v, 2010 Peugeot Bipper and a 2008 Peugeot Satelis 250 scooter, I will ignore the scooter for the moment. I drive the Bipper approx. 40k a year in my job as a gas service engineer and the Honda approx. 6k a year. In the last 13 years I have had only one puncture - until - the beginning of October when I had two, singly , in different wheels on consecutive weeks. I have had only two windscreens in 50 + years of motoring, I have had four now in the last month. One in the Bipper, three in the Honda, 1st Honda was two days after the Bipper, second was a week later after noticing marks in the interlayer, third was the day after it was replaced when a stone smacked into it . As an aside, the shower packed up, as did the Hoover and the dvd player.....I'm off to the pub, I may be some while.

All those vehicles & you've only ever had two windscreens, didn't it get a bit draughty?

It will get worse - in my experience bad things only come in 23s.

Yesterday:

  • I couldn't find my working clothes
  • Went to Screwfix, got home and had to go back as they had missed something off the order
  • Banged my head on a rafter
  • Caused a flood in the attic
  • Didn't get to Brighton v Stoke as a result of the preceding item (neighbour was happy with the tickets!)
  • Couldn't find either of my (and I am pretty pedantic about putting tools back in their particular place after I have used them)
  • Rearranged a meeting for the fourth time and again someone can't make it
  • And probably loads of other stuff I haven't discovered yet.....

Check Oxfam for working clothes - "she" probably donated them.

I was missing a "nice " anorak after moving house once before.

What is it with women and our clothes. My missus regularly complains about the comfortable clothes I wear and will throw bits out without asking. :(

When we moved first thing I brought into the new place was my two framed Manchester United shirts. There were picture hooks in the lounge so obviously I hung them there.

Within an hour they were in the loft and have been there since,
