British Summer Time - a good thing??

Lovely last night, getting on for 8 before dark.

Pitch black outside at the moment though, doesn't help getting up for work on a Monday morning:cry::cry:

On the (very) bright side, fitted new HID on main beam on Saturday so looking forward to upsetting people in Belgium in a few minutes:-0)

Yes actually.I hate mornings, I hate depressing dark winter days, and I am very frightened of big bad wolves.

I think anyone who doesn't want double summertime is mental. If Scotland had their own time zone, then there would only be a few reasons not to do it. I would also lengthen the summertime bit.

All this 'Berlin time' crap by the papers is just sensationalist nonsense. For every reason not to do it, there are at least two equally good reasons why we should do it.

Would be a crime not to at least carry out a 2 or 3 year trial, to see if it works out. I think the first year it would be criticised and hated, but by the second year it would be loved and people wouldn't ever want to go back.
