My bikes British, least ways it was bought in the UK. So a modern triumph, is every part made in Britain? A certain Japanese car manufacturer has a British manufacturing plant, does that make those models British. Royal Enfield, British or not.

Not for me..

1) Sounds like their mind set is bordering on fascism

2) even the name suggests xenophobia

3) It is being formed by a GROUP of wannabe's.. Here is a quote:

British Bikers Association.org was formed by a group of passionate bikers with over 30 years' experience of riding on two wheels

Well given a GROUP is likely to be at least 6 people, that gives them an average of 5 years riding apiece

Big fookin deal.. By 17 year old grandson has more riding experience and I would not join any group he set up either ! 8rfl@

4) They are effectively putting down or belittling all other organisations by suggestion
Any group that needs to try and 'dis' others and climb on sholders deserves nothing but contempt

All in all.. not really interested then !! g0551p :-0)

hmmmm.......... the 'about us' page is vaguer than a vague thing.

'Our pedigree' - what on earth does that mean??

Anyway, good luck to them if that's what they want to do - let's face it, there are plenty, including on here, who moan about pretty much every biking organisation under the sun.......................

I have just spoken to someone who is in the know. Apparently this "Association" is owned by a firm called Motorcycle Claims and they have ruffled more than a few feathers by offering sponsorship to organisations and then virtually take over the website or the domain name so that people are then directed to their Compensation claims website.

This also explains when I was asked to join the British Bikers Forum by an existing member and I mentioned who I worked for, I got a message telling me that there was a conflict because they are sponsored by Motorcycle Claims, although their was no mention at that time that the BBA is actually owned by Motorcycle Claims.

My contact spoke to the boss man, and apparently the boss man claimed that they have 9,000 members. My contact knows for a fact that this is an untruth.

So, in my opinion, not very credible.
