Just wondering how hard these tossers at BA are actually trying to return bags to their rightful owners. Is the cost factor of executing luggage returns actually curtailing their efforts I wonder...?
Heard on the J Vine show the other day from loadsa people who still haven't had their bags back yet from the T5 farce....... and others from previous instances who never got their luggage back at all.
Now I was taking this all with a pinch of salt (sour grapes by unhappy pax and all that) when some folk then phoned in who actually attend auctions where they bid for and buy other peoples unreturned luggage!!! It seems they take a blind chance on whether they buy a suitcase full of dirty grits and socks...... or one with a camcorder, laptop, foreign currency or whatever.
Jesus christ - at what point do BA give up and just take the money?? If this is as true as peeps were making it out to be then BA have no incentive to return luggage at all because there is a cash reward at the end of it if they don't. Surely this can't be right - it must be bordering on illegal.
I've flown with BA many times but I don't think I'll be bothering with them again. This doesn't seem to be a very well run company at all.... this is not exactly the first time they've had major problems exposed in recent years. I think BA have some very deep seated problems in their management structure somewhere. Something is very wrong in that outfit.
