Right I'm sober now I think,so I'm a little better at stringing a sentence together.
We picked the bikes up at 10 I jumped on the GSA Deejay on the 12s
I won't make any comments to the handling of either bike as I know from previous rides that they do handle very well
unfortunately these two didn't this was down to the dealer(twats)putting a set of off road nobblies on the gsa the rear was also badly squared off cornering at anything over 80 was a nightmare
the 12s wouldn't turn this was down to a totally fooked front tyre the middle was badly squared off
How the fukc a dealer can let a demo bike out in this state is beyond me I thought the idea was to try and sell em and to impress potential customers

The front brake on the GSA would judder badly at slow speed, the rear was all but useless with little stopping power and set far too low

after a little while the vibration from the bars made my right hand numb the left not so bad

Weather protection was very good, seat and riding position very comfy

tyres aside the bike felt light and nimble on the road

after lunch we swapped my first thoughts were how rough the engine felt compared to the bird, lots of vibes more like a kwak or a uki

the injection system on this bike still ain't sorted going into a corner banging down a couple of gears there was still a 2 second delay before any decent engine braking came in same as when I rode one last year when the fooker caught me out a few times
the engine also hunted at idle but pulling away and through the rest of the rev range it was fine and glitch free
this bike is quicker than the bird but not by that much considering it had a remus can and a power commander fitted

the plastics looked and felt cheap the overall look and feel of both bikes didn't seem up to bm's reputation

comfort was great everything was positioned nice except the usual bm's stupid indicators
lol seat I'd have nicked it for the bird it only it would have fitted

This one didn't have the adjustable suspension but was very good all the same
gear box was ok but no better than the bird same with the brakes in fact I prefer the birds brakes
To be fair these bikes have had a hard time of it and the dealer has neglected them they made me wonder if they don't look after they're own what sort of service does the customer get

there's no way I would buy a 12s instead of a bird and at 3 grand more they're having a laugh
I'll be keeping my bird and wait till Mr Honda pulls his finger out and gives us the replacement promised for the last 3yrs

as for the gsa same there I'm afraid I really wanted to like this bike as I've been thinking of replacing my 28k 02 gs but it didn't do it for me

Nice one

You hit the nail on the head, when you said you would wait for Honda to bring out a replacement for the Bird, I am one of many doing the same, just clocking up the miles on my old one, waiting for the next generation.
Lets just hope they have a good look at the BM and see why people are buying them for comfort.

Shame the bikes seemed so rough for demo's, not a way to sell new bikes if you walk away from them.

Did the dealer ask for your feedback ?

Yep and I told him as I found think they were a bit gutted they hadn't checked the bikes over

the thing I found most surprising was how they felt so cheap
