Did the course in May

It consisted of 2 days with the mornings in the classroom, which was OK but a bit long winded. The other aspect was that the local IAM was mentioned with the expectation that this worshop was just an introduction to further training that could be done withe the IAM.

The afternoons were on the road. Remember the rain and winds at the end of May, that was the weekend that I was on the course. Even with the rain it was extremely enlightening. The copper that followed me was very down to earth and was happy to 'push along a bit'.
We did about 100 miles the first afternoon with a bit of town, some motorway and a lot of lanes.
The scond afternoon was about 150 of motorway and fast A roads where we 'pushed along a lot'.

I just wish the weather had ben better, but I can recommend the West Midlands course.

Sounds good - I have just booked a courses with Sussex Police on Sunday the 17th September, in Broadbridge Heath.

Am really looking forward to it, as I've only been riding just over a year now, although done quite a few miles and on my fourth bike!!

Anyone else booked for that day?
