I had a surge protector and a UPS in place for a machine containing my work. Last week I moved all the work to a network storage device with daily backups to a server.
This week the old machine blew when we had the power off and on for this damn kitchen. The UPS also took out both monitors and the printer and sounds an alarm when plugged-in. :violin:
Thank f*ck I moved all my work last week.
At least Belkin cover the connected equiptment, but that's the last time I buy a UPS to keep things safe. c7u8
