remember that millions of players at grass roots and above are not overpaid nancies running about. Footie is actually a very physical game at higher level too. The players that are overpaid negotiate their money like another employee and they get paid what they are worth like any other business does. It's unlikely many of us would turn away high wages if offered. Footie at the highest level is a business and the worlds top sportsmen earn a decent crust for the , relatively, short working career. Fair play to the players that are good enough to command this money of which you rant. Better footie than golfists and other pointless sports. So thereIs this all about 22 moronic, overpaid, egomaniacs chasing a bag of wind round a mucky field?

What makes it worth is EUFA are not doing the disciplinary stuff until after the final in May - absolute total cop out. To my mind there is no way that the visiting team will not have been affected in the build up to the game - I would have been terrified.
In fairness, remember it is a minority who cross the line - if they weren't being cretins there then they would probably be having a fight in the local pub or breaking into someone's house.
I believe it was suggested some time ago that if the fans kick off as they did yesterday, the club they represent gets an immediate 4 (or 8 ? ) week ban.
It would stop the crap dead as no club could stand loosing that many points and would risk financial ruin...
