Don't know if anyone is around this neck of the woods or if anyone is even vaguely interested, but it is the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic. On the River Mersey off Liverpool this week-end there will be approx 6 warships including the Carrier HMS Invincible. She has already anchored off the Albert Dock this afternoon - looks awesome! Might be a decent run-out for the more Northern interns.

All the family have decided to 'pop up and stay' from the midlands for the weekend.

Murt - don't know if you know Liverpool, but if you go in the cage DON'T park at the Albert Dock - it will be packed - instead drive on past and where the road bends sharp left bear right - it's called Sefton St - you can park on the road and walk back up on Riverside walk - it's about half a mile.
