A previous work colleague and good friend of mine is on tv a lot now - she had done bits and pieces over the years, good to see her fulfilling her dream.
I wan interviewed for BBC news during the Maxwell,debacle.I was on the telly when I was six in an episode of Z cars & again in 95 during TT coverage
So there.
First time I was on Telly was in 1971 with the John Smeaton school choir singing Christmas carols at Leeds city station,
I was on several times during the 80's & 90's queuing for tickets at Elland road & also in a documentary about football hooligans (no I was not a hooligan)
Couple of times on 1st & 2nd April 1990 at Strangeways riot.
Also appeared on Pet rescue collecting a Shetland pony from Chesterfield & then there was my famous appearance on Bargain hunt.

I had been accepted to go on Bear Grylls The Island but had to miss it as a result of my unexpected extra year at work.

Slightly off kilter but I have always had a yearning to emigrate to Australia, I missed my chance on leaving school when offered a job working for my uncle John in a copper mine, as a young lad I found the thought of moving so far away a bit daunting so I joined the Navy instead.
When my father died in 2001 my eldest brother looked into our family ancestry & discovered that we have more family in Australia than we do over here, my mother was born in Dunfermline but brought up in Leeds, my father was born in Portsmouth of Irish descent.

No, my father had nothing to do with horses.Does that explain the horses.....

According to the blurb in Dublin the name Bennett is of Ancient Irish decent....
And @Centaur 's name is of Scottish origins whether he likes it or not LOL!!!
