Bloody fantastic!! :eek: I could see myself spending money on that once a start was made!

But the sensible thing to do would be to finish my PPL and do it for real (not jets though lol!).

A mate of mine (Mark Levesly) was/is the british national champion in gas turbine powered models.. His family own Mikes models in Kingstanding, and they do a range of fine G/T models ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous... Motors start at ?1400 for a very small one to ?3500 for a topline one..

I remember when we used to put a normal 2 stroke with a fan inside a duct & we needed 300 yards to get the bloody thing off the ground... Not like these monsters...Off in less than 100 yards...:eek:

Still no one has mastered a harrier jump jet though:rolleyes:
