A lot of Mosques around the country are having an open day today. So here's a chance for all of us with Islamic concerns or questions to go and find out what is true or false, about what we believe. And as one of the major concerns is that we are being taken over by Muslims, there should be a Mosque near you. I'm off to the East London Mosque now. Enjoy!

Ha Ha

the female channel 4 news presenter went on her own fruition and not as a journalist to her local mosque in Streatham and was ushered out even though she was wearing a head covering and without shoes.

I'm going to take a punt it was because she was a woman, although most presenters from channel 4 should be barred for life from most things.

Greece says.....

"We are a Christian country and if you want to visit a mosque go home. You are welcome to visit our churches". There are NO mosques in Greece. :dunno:

I lived in the Middle East for 12 years, 9 in Saudi. I did not see one Church in any of the countries I visited. Aramco had a visiting priest in Saudi who went under the code name of "Fish Eater". There are nearly 300,000 Muslims in Athens alone so money is NOT the problem. The Greek people have forbidden the building of mosques. The Greek people choose not to live in a multi-cultural society and that is their right. The majority of Muslims in Greece are Turkish (illegal immigrants) so they are not far from home and Turkey last time I looked was not a war zone so if mosques are that important to their lives they do not have far to go. I, also, do not wish to live in a multicultural society but it is too late now. When was the last time you met a British Muslim who wanted to fully integrate into British society and would welcome a Christian lad courting and marrying their daughter? With Christianity religion is part of an individuals life but with Muslims their religion is all of their life. Most Muslims in Britain are currently, or there parents were, economic migrants so they want the benefits of our society but wish to retain their original culture. Until this changes, sadly, they will never be regarded as British nor trusted not to support religious extremism. Please remind me of the last Muslim mass demonstration against religious terrorism in the UK. I must have missed it! The next major war will be a religious war and fortunately the Christians have most of the nuclear weapons.

Sorry mate, I'm as black as the ace of spades, and of Jamaican origins. My half sisters are of Asian heritage. My sisters and cousins are married to white British, Nigerian, North Americans. My parents were economic migrants. So I epitomise the multicultural Britain that you didn't want. We had a word in our house for one such as you, but hey, I'm sure you already know what you are, and have learnt to live with it.
If you knew anything about the Middle East you'd know that it has its own Christian society, and a Pope.
The question I ask, is what do you and other like you, fear from looking at the world. The world is changing my friend, (and Honda no longer build the Blackbird) you can embrace it or not, but it will change.
I put the information out there for those that like me, wonder how others in our society and the world live. For me it was enlightening and informative, and I found open respect for my Christian origins. They were also open and informative when I challenged them on Islamic terrorism. All in all a good afternoon.
DK it was anything but bollocks.

I'm sure that some of the muslims in some of the mosques were normal, hard-working people of a solid integrity and high moral standard. However, if you think for one nano-second that not one single one of them possess the knowledge to see a bunch of their comrades banged up for the rest of their lives, then you are deluded beyond all understanding.

The idea of allowing infidels into their places of worship can best be described as 'interesting'. However, they will only tell you two things:-

1. What they want you to know; and

2. What they know you want to hear.

In other words, bollocks.

You do not epitomise the multi-cultural Britain that, Bill, I, or plenty of others do not want. To put it simply, you're just another black dude of Caribbean descent who goes about his business. Apart from the Caribbean cuisine and weather, not much separates our cultures. We are pretty much Christian societies (Ok, there are a decent proportion of Rastafarians in the Caribbean but, as far as I understand it, Rastafarianism is more of a "way of life"; similar to Buddhism being a teaching, as opposed to a religion). The major point that you're failing to see here, and I have to confess David, this surprises the shit out of me because it's right under your bloody nose, is that the vast majority of black people integrated with British society. A sweeping statement, I know, but look around you: black people are in Christian churches alongside white people; there are black clergymen; we have black Old Bill; black politicians; black athletes representing British sports teams at club and international level (Colin Charvis - Welsh legend ; Nathan Blake - Welsh/Bluebirds legend ; Colin Jackson - Welsh legend , to name but a few); black military servicemen and I could go on ad nauseum. My training partner at home is black. I know black dudes, and dudesses, with Welsh accents far stronger than mine. The point that could be argued here is that there are muslim athletes, muslim police, muslim soldiers, etc. but they put Allah and their religion before Queen and flag, make NO mistake about that! Black people have integrated since coming to the UK (back in the 50s, was it?); muslims have not. And they are not going to. Ever.

Your examples of your own family are an entirely different box of fish. You are ostensibly writing of marriage/relationships of mixed colour. Nothing wrong in that; as long as the couple are happy, then who cares. I'm not sure that what you're saying about your family involves mixed religion, where one party is a muslim. Somehow, I doubt that very much.

When considering marriage between mixed religions, it is the standard practice of all religions (as far as I'm aware, although I stand to be man in orthopaedic shoes) that the man is required to take the woman's religion. And that also applies to Islam. Unless, of course, the man is a muslim and the woman is something else, and then the woman has to become a muslim. Which is totally commensurate with the doctrine of these hate-filled, hypocritical bastards.

You put it a lot better than I ever could poo !! @tu* thank you, I was just wondering if a "race card" was going to make an appearance at some stage, I wonder why he decides to "mention" race now, it certainly makes NO difference to the religious argument he is trying to foster us with :dunno:

I've been trawling through davey boys posts, and although bird is a bike forum !!!! yeah I know,!! it seems to me that the man is only interested in pushing his religious views, and IMO is nothing more than a troll trying to drag a bike forum down to a basic religious or racist level where he can take the moral high ground, I'm just wondering if he actually owns a motorbike let alone a bird ?? I also wonder if he is a member on any other bike forums and if so if he gets short shift on those, so has decided to just infest this one?? DO you belong to any other bike forums where you "discuss" your religious views?? DO you actually own a Bird or any motorbike for that matter,?? just asking in the interest of harmony after all we wouldn't like to get the wrong end of your stick would we?? @tu*

A good friend of mine owns his own building firm & works round Wakefield & Dewsbury.
One of his workers (17 year old single lad) started talking to a Muslim girl that passed by where they were building, she was polite & friendly.
After a couple of weeks he didn't see her, a couple of days later he rode his scooter home & just after he got into his house there was a knock at the door.
His mother answered & was punched in the face & pushed to the floor.
The intruders set about the lad & battered him, on their way out they smashed his scooter.
They had told him that it was punishment for soiling their sister & he would never see her again.
Several months later parts of her body were found on Dewsbury rubbish tip.
All she & the lad did were talk, he didn't even know where she lived.
We had one of the brothers in Wakefield for a while & he told me that he was born & raised in Rotherham.

There was a guy on the radio yesterday stating that Islam is a beautiful religion, it may be in it's purest form but it has been corrupted by so many self righteous egotistical blackhearts that it now poses a serious threat to society.
It preaches hatred & breeds mistrust.
Davey, you can live behind your rose tinted glasses believing everything is wonderful but one day the reality is going to clamp it's powerful jaws right on your arse cheeks.
