99 Carb Red One....

I'd like to do some Uk and europe rides next year - my seat seems to have had some more padding stuffed in it by a previous owner. Considering I've only been 30 miles on it so far I don't know how effective it is yet.

I know Alastair at Elsemade, so I might get him to do one if I need it. He is going to be doing the seat for my Buell as well

Adding padding might help but to me it is more about the shape. Standard made me sit on the bike, the Corbin made me sit in it, if you see what I mean. More sculpted.

Having said that, many seem happy enough with standard. I suppose you can't appreciate what you have never had.

I found on long tours/rides wearing a set of cycling padded gel shorts is a good cheap place to see how much extra padding you need. I tended to wear them even after having a custom seat and the double up helped greatly.

Swapped the instrument lights out today for some red LED's, simple job with the screen removed, took all of about 10 minutes

Got the front indicators swapped for clear ones with silver bulbs today.

Only took about 15 minutes, and they were a princely £14.50 from Hong Kong. Fitted fine and the quality seems OK.

I took off the mahoosive rear indicators too and replaced with LED's all around.

That looks good. Do you not need Orange bulbs with these?

These tend to have a silver type coating on them so they do not stand out through the lense but when activated the bulb does show orange. A bit long winded but you get the point.

Yes, most are silver, but you can just get the orange ones as well.

These are much brighter in real life, I might look at putting super bright LED bulbs in at some point.

I fitted small rear indicators too, super bright halogen bulb ones.

1. Go Pro box, that mounting position doesn't really work very well, so I need to experiment with somewhere else...

2. One of them is the immobiliser touch thing, the other is a defunct switch for something, not connected to anything any more....

3. Unless you look like either Dani Divine or Johnny Depp then no.... 8rfl@
