Weekend blast to Scotland
Not really a rideout as such, will be riding up to my brothers in Ashton under lyne on friday 25/03/2011. Will stay the night( one or two lemonades) we will then head up to the Scottish Borders early on sat morning. There will be myself on the BB, My Bro on his Vstrom along with Malc on a GTR100, Dan on a Susicki gladiola and Tommy on a xjr1300. The plan is to have a hoon round the Borders ( my old stamping ground) taking in various towns inc. Hawick, Selkirk, Moffat,Peebles, Galashiels then head up to Edinburgh in the afternoon. After some scran we will the head down the A1 coast road towards Berwick upon Tweed then head inland through Kelso,Melrose and Back into Galashiels ( B&B booked). Sunday morning we will head back down to Manc land via the A7 to Carlisle then on the M6. Once on the M6 it will be a flip of the coin to see what way we take to Ashton.......and depending on how many warm beers I have I may head back south on the monday, or tuesday:-0)
