I've just spoken to Russ and this is going to happen @tu*

Dates are Friday, 28th August to Monday 31st, August 2015.

I have booked FIFTEEN rooms in the Londonderry Arms Hotel but they are likely to go quickly. Have a look here - http://www.glensofantrim.com/

For any SoA fans, Carnlough appeared in a couple of the (shite) third season episodes. Probably more interestingly, Winston Churchill owned the hotel in the 1920s and you can still see burn marks from his cigars on a couple of toilet cisterns (I made that last bit up about the cigar burns).

Cost for the three nights will be no more than ?160 per person and that'll get you three B&B and two three-course evening meals! Bargain!!

If you're keen to go, please contact the hotel ASAP and book a room which'll give me an idea how many rooms we'll need in total. Telephone number is 028 2888 5255 - ask to speak to Carol.

I'll post more details soon.

Confirmed:

Could Jan & myself attend (although by car:)-() please ? It gives me time to sort everything out. No employers to feck everything up nowadays. and hopefully, all my money worries will be sorted by then.

Best wishes,

Dave & Jan

Just ran a route on Garmin.
381 miles via Lymm, Carlisle, Stranraer and ferry to Belfast.

My route is 3 miles to Holyhead, ferry to Dublin or Dun Laoghaire then 144 to the hotel.

WTF is going on?????

A return for the bike this year was £80 for a fully flexible ticket. Hold off booking for a while and I'll do some digging on prices.

Thanks all... Having a look at costs at the moment... Ferry looks to be really expensive, but may be easier to come by air from Birmingham (?42return) & hire over there.

I will have to see how health is to see whether its possible to hire a bike for 3 days, or a car (to get back on a bike would be great, but it all depends on my disintegrating spine)

We will keep you informed.

Best wishes to all,

Rolfy & Jan

Nikki told me she WILL NOT be playing out on any of the rides. So Dave and Jan can keep her entertained (if you do come Dave) I know you have health problems and it's unlikely you will get your leg over. @tu*
