Sobering

I wish I had access to this article when I was at work to use when someone was getting stuff out of proportion - twenty minutes reading and thinking about this would help perspective. Well, for most people, anyway.

It makes me wonder why anyone would work in the medical profession, particularly NHS.

And will improve patient safety - not a chance.

The NHS spends far too much time looking for scapegoats and precious little time fixing a broken system.

Apart from medical staff, there are two other professions that I would never want to work in because they suffer from exactly the same problems....Police and Prisons.
