Champions League final tickets currently on sale at up to £14k each....

The problem will only be solved when an individual has to go to the venue to buy a ticket when they go on sale. Take the Internet out of the equation completely. Also make it illegal to sell a ticket for more than face value.

Iris,recognition might be the way forward.....but the problem is the technology is only ever one step,ahead of the scrotes.

At Euro 2016 I had to show I.d. at some games to prove that I was the person named on the ticket. But I think that was more aimed at preventing crowd trouble rather than tickets being sold on.

Needless to say the heightened security was mainly for the England games. All the other games I went to had a relatively pleasant atmosphere.....
