Me me meGood news BT have finally phoned up, the first call I was asked why I wanted to speak to a manager so I explained, the BT lady said she would look into it and phone back.
You won't believe this, but she did and she has sorted it £672 winging my way, she added if it had gone to her department it would have been sorted earlier. But still a result
Just had a terrible thought who am I going to ring up and talk to every week.
Now, after 4 months, the THIRD new account was supposed to go live yesterday, yep, you guessed it, email this morning from BT saying they have cancelled the order but they do not know why, they will contact us to start another order soon as.So, after 3 months we are still in the same position as Minky, the usual promises of call backs, just a pain, they have now cancelled 2 accounts, the old, the new and the 2nd new one still doesn't work, hopeless, useless shower, will have to sit down and spend probably a day explaining to 3 different people what the problem is.
Given all the problems I've had with BT I am not surprisedI’ve just moved from BT to PlusNet (owned by BT but much cheaper). I rang BT and asked when I could expect the refund for the part of the advance payment that needed crediting. Operative found the account hadn’t been closed, so closed it and set up a £30 odd credit. 2 days later I get an email saying my bill is ready. Yup! They’ve put the credit on it then added another month to the bill!
