I find that quite sad.The England team I mean.
As a Scot I wanted to see England do well, it's my home of 50+ years, I have an English wife, son and grandchild.
Will never be as important to me as when Scotland play but it's still a shame.
Well done England, did much better than all the doom mongers that this country is full of said they would.
That’s actually not quite correct, Will.I.Was. They have a third/fourth play-off against the Belgians to look forward to. It’s the game no one ever wants be involved in but it’s a great opportunity to restore a bit of pride.The England team I mean.
As a sheep shagger, I’m no fan of Engerluuuuuund but I still wanted them to do well. And I agree with Andrew in that they did themselves proud. There’s a lot to build on there for Euro 2020, as long as the twatty FA don’t do something stupid and sack Southgate.
